1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Lakeway Roofing (“Lakeway Roofing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit lakewayroofing.com (the “Site”), request an estimate, chat with our assistant, or otherwise interact with us. We are a family-owned roofing contractor based in Lakeway, Texas, serving the Greater Austin area.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you submit our request-an-estimate or callback form, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. When you use the AI chat assistant on our Site, we collect the messages you send and any contact details you choose to share in the conversation (such as your name and phone number) so we can follow up about your roofing project. If you call or email us, we keep the information you provide in that exchange.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our analytics providers automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and how you interact with the Site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
Bot protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans apart from automated abuse. This processes limited technical signals from your browser to verify the submission is genuine.
We do not ask for, and request that you do not send us, sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, or financial account details through the Site or chat. Financing applications are handled by a separate provider (see Section 6).
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your estimate requests, questions, and service inquiries
- Schedule inspections, provide quotes, and carry out roofing work
- Contact you by phone, text, or email about your project
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our chat assistant
- Measure the performance of our website and advertising, and understand which pages and services are useful to visitors
- Protect the Site against fraud, spam, and abuse, and comply with our legal obligations
5. The AI chat assistant
Our Site offers an AI-powered chat assistant to answer common roofing questions and help you request an estimate. To generate responses, the messages you send are processed by a third-party AI provider on our behalf. Conversations are stored so we can follow up on your request and improve the assistant.
Please do not enter sensitive personal or financial information into the chat. If you ask the assistant to have someone contact you, the name, phone number, and a short summary of your conversation are sent to our team by email so we can reach out.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business and provide our services, including with:
- Service providers who operate the Site and our tools on our behalf — including our website host, database provider, email delivery provider, AI assistant provider, and analytics and advertising providers (such as Google) and bot-protection provider (Cloudflare).
- Financing partner. If you choose to apply for financing, the application is handled by our financing partner, Enhancify, on their own systems and under their own privacy policy. Prequalifying does not affect your credit score.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lakeway Roofing, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect your information consistent with this policy.
Our Site may also link to third-party websites and social media pages (such as Facebook and Instagram). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
7. How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide and service your roofing work, maintain business and warranty records, and comply with our legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
8. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please contact us right away if you believe your information has been compromised.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of marketing contact at any time. To make a request, email info@lakewayroofing.com or call (512) 270-8084. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act — including the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. As noted above, we do not sell your personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Marketing texts and calls. If we contact you by text, you can reply STOP to opt out. You can also tell us at any time that you prefer not to be contacted for marketing.
10. Children’s privacy
Our Site and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here, and your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
